Mahatma Gandhi University envisaged the prospects of an Inter University Centre for Biomedical Research and Super Speciality Hospital (IUCBR & SSH) as an institution of importance and relevance to Kerala State with the object to develop high-end teaching and training in post graduate medical education in all branches of healthcare specifically pertinent to the region. The University has identified its campus at Thalappady, Kottayam as the ideal location for IUCBR & SSH, and the first phase of the construction is completed. Mahatma Gandhi University,one of the major  Universities in Kerala, is a premier educational institution that strives to fulfill the higher educational needs of the people from Central Kerala. Set on the sprawling 110-acre Priyadarsini Hills Campus at Athirampuzha, 12 kms off Kottayam, the University also has two satellite campuses in  Kottayam . The University was established on 2nd October 1983 and has jurisdiction over the revenue districts of Kottayam, Ernakulam, Idukki and parts of Pathanamthitta and Alappuzha. Project I (RP)

• Write or review code for various applications.
• Run functionality testing, debug and documentation of code
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science/PG in Computer Science or Computer Application / MCA
• Experience – 6-8 years
• Knowledge of Object -Oriented PHP programming
• Should be able to Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules
• Should know best practices to write clean and secure code
• Should have good experience with at least one relational database like PostgreSQL, MySQL OR MariaDB
• Performance Optimization
• Should be comfortable working in the Linux Environment
• Understanding of Code versioning tools like GIT
• Web Services (SOAP, REST)
• Good knowledge of design patterns
• Strong knowledge of PHP/Laravel/Codelgniter/Yii2

Project II (PP)

• Write or review code for various applications.
