Seshadripuram Law College has a history of excellence in the legal eld for over three decades. In the year 1984-85 Seshadripuram Educational Trust started the college with the ambition of imparting quality legal education which is a very important step towards spreading legal awareness and empowering the helpless in the society. It is the rm belief of the Seshadripuram Educational Trust that all individuals from every stratum of society should get affordable, relevant and quality education in order to fulfill personal aspirations and ambitions. Towards the fulfillment of its vision, the trust commits itself to a mission of excelling in all its activities by creating an atmosphere of effective learning, generating a spirit of enquiry and inducing healthy challenges and competitions which ensure enriching rewards to everyone
The college has been conducting the three-years LL.B and five-years integrated LL.B. courses. The college is affiliated to the Karnataka State Law University, Hubballi and is recognized by the Bar Council of India, New Delhi. Seshadripuram Law College has been conducting various activities which cater to the overall development of law students aspiring to excel in the field of law. With this objective in mind, the college has decided to conduct this webinar.

The Intellectual Property law is designed to protect the original works of the author, inventor or creator. Intellectual Property Rights are the rights given to persons for the outcome of their creative minds and innovative thinking. It not only recognizes the work done but also rewards such creativity. Digital technology in this era has influenced every aspect of human life; through the invention of digital creations, holograms, artificial intelligence, crypto currencies, e- commerce platforms, e-books etc. These innovative technologies and digitalisation have posed various challenges in the field of IPR. Innovative technologies and creative inventions act as major contributing factors towards developing nation. Failure in protecting Intellectual Property may result in discouraging the authors or creators and thereby having / bearing negative implications on the development of our country
