In the inception, the Post Graduate (PG) programme M.Tech. in Plastics Engineering has been offered to the students from the year 2003 with the approval of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and in affiliation with Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Rorukela, Odisha. Subsequently the other UG / PG programmes i.e. B.Tech. in Plastics Engineering (2008), M.Tech. in Polymer Nanotechnology (2009), B.Tech. in Manufacturing Engineering & Technology (2010) has been offered with the approval of AICTE and as well as in affiliation with BPUT, Rourkela. Recently CIPET:IPT-Bhubaneswar is accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA) for its ongoing B.Tech. programmes i.e. B.Tech. in Plastics Engineering and B.Tech. in Manufacturing Engineering.
