The IMU has its regional campuses at Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata, Visakhapatnam and Cochin. IMU presently offers Diploma, Degree, Postgraduate Diploma and Post Graduate Degree courses in Nautical Science, Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering, Ship Building & Repair, Maritime Management, Doctoral Programmes and Post Sea Courses.

- Academic Consultant
🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
The details of the required qualifications & experience along with other relevant information are available on the Institute Website
- Education: Any Post Graduate with good command over English
- Preferable: Ph.D. Degree
- Experience: 10 years in the middle level management out of which 5 years should be in the level 10 and above in the Central
service or its equivalent in the State service.
OR
Comparable experience in the Public/Private Sector preferably in educational/training Institutes. - Retired Officers from Higher Educational Institutions like Central/State Universities, IIT, IIM or other reputed Universities/Government Services may also apply.
- Skills Required:
i. Correspondence with higher educational bodies such as UGC, AICTE etc.
ii. Correspondence in English independently.
iii. Computer – Savvy and well versed with ICT.
iv. Lead a team and execute the instructions/plan through the staff.
