The primary motive of BITS is to “train young men and women able and eager to create and put into action such ideas, methods, techniques and information”. The Institute is a dream come true of its founder late Mr G.D.Birla – an eminent industrialist, a participant in Indian freedom struggle and a close associate of the Father of Indian Nation late Mr. Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi (Mahatma Gandhi). What started in early 1900s as a small school, blossomed into a set of colleges for higher education, ranging from the Humanities to Engineering until 1964 when all these colleges amalgamated to culminate into a unique Indian University of International standing. This university was christened as the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, known to many as BITS, Pilani.

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Manager
• Post Graduate in any discipline with minimum 7 years of demonstrated experience in independently conceptualizing, designing and executing events.
• Experience of working in an event management agency or industry bodies such as NASSCOM, Oil, FICCI or managing communities at co-working spaces etc. would be an added advantage.
• Experience in an educational institution or a university would be a plus.
Technical Assistant, Gr-I
• Diploma with 12 years OR Technical Graduate with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Qualified candidates from environmental sciences background will be preferred.
Office Assistant
• Graduate in any discipline with a minimum of 3 years of experience in an office setting.
• Prior experience in an educational institute will be preferred.
Junior Office Assistant Graduate in Commerce with minimum 1 year of relevant accounting experience.
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
- Manager Entry Pay: Rs. 67,700 plus DA& other benefits as per Institute Norms.
- Technical Assistant, Gr-I Entry Pay: Rs. 44,900 plus DA & other benefits as per Institute Norms.
- Office Assistant Entry Pay: Rs. 25,500 plus DA & other benefits as per Institute Norms.
- Junior Office Assistant Entry Pay: Rs. 21,700 plus DA& other benefits as per Institute Norms.
