The Birla Institute of Technology & Science, BITS Pilani is an all-India Institute for higher education. The primary motive of BITS is to “train young men and women able and eager to create and put into action such ideas, methods, techniques and information”. The Institute is a dream come true of its founder late Mr G.D.Birla – an eminent industrialist, a participant in Indian freedom struggle and a close associate of the Father of Indian Nation late Mr. Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi (Mahatma Gandhi). What started in early 1900s as a small school, blossomed into a set of colleges for higher education, ranging from the Humanities to Engineering until 1964 when all these colleges amalgamated to culminate into a unique Indian University of International standing. This university was christened as the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, known to many as BITS, Pilani.

💼 DESIGNATION / JOB POSITION
- Junior Office Assistant / Technician
🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Junior Office Assistant Graduate in any stream. Experience in purchase and stores would be desirable.
Technician B.E. / B.Tech. in CS with minimum 1 year OR BCA with minimum 3 years OR Diploma in Computer Engineering or equivalent with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in networks i.e. in handling Switches, Hub, Broadband, Router & Cable Crimping
Technician B.E. / B. Tech. / M.Sc. in CS with minimum 2 years OR BCA / B.Sc. (CS) with minimum 4 years OR Diploma in Computer Engineering or equivalent with minimum 5 years of relevant experience. Desirable: Cisco Certification (CCNA)
Qualification & Experience criteria may be relaxed for exceptional candidates
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
- Junior Office Assistant / Technician Rs. 29,950 p.m. (consolidated). Other benefits such as CPF @ 12% on Pay, Leave will be admissible as per Institute Norms.
- Technician Entry Pay: Rs. 25,500 plus DA & other benefits as per Institute Norms.
