Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur is one of the thirty National Institutes of Technology in the country. The Govt. of India conferred on the Institute, the Deemed to be University status (under University Grants Commission Act, 1956 (3 of 1956)) with effect from 26th June 2002. Subsequently, the Central Govt. by Act of Parliament (National Institutes of Technology Act, 2007 (29 of 2007)) declared VNIT Nagpur as an Institute of National Importance along with all other NITs. The Act was brought into force from 15th August 2007.

VNIT invites suitable candidates to work as Adhoc Assistant Professor on contract basis for the academic semester starting from July 2023 to May 2024 in the Departments of 1) Applied Mechanics, 2) Civil Engineering, 3) Computer Science & Engineering, 4) Electrical Engineering, 5) Electronics and Communication Engineering, 6) Metallurgical & Material Engineering, 7) Mathematics and 8) Architecture & Planning.

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Qualification, Experience, Pay Scale, prescribed online application form and other details will be available on the Institute website : www.vnit.ac.in
- Engineering Departments: Masters Degree with BE/B Tech in First Class or equivalent grade in the appropriate branch of Engineering.
- Architecture & planning: Masters degree (Architecture or Planning) with B. Arch in First Class or equivalent grade.
- Science Departments : Master’s Degree in Science (Respective Discipline), desirable M. Phil / Ph.D
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
The persons with higher qualifications & good academic record shall be given preference. Consolidated remuneration (without any allowances):
M.Sc. / M.A. – Rs.50,000 per month
M.E. / M.Tech / M. Phil – Rs.55,000 per month
Ph.D. – Rs. 60,000 per month

from the institute website www.vnit.ac.in with passport size photo affixed on it), Bio-data, relevant original certificates & one set of self attested copies of these certificates alongwith Id proof. Even though these are temporary position, VNIT will make all the efforts to fulfill reservation norms as per the GoI policy.
