🎯 Project Details

  • Project Title -“Investigation of the most toxic ultrafine Particulate Matter (PM1 ) across three climatic zones in India: Emissions, Toxicity, Health, and Policy”.
  • Funded by – Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF)
  • Principal Investigator –  Dr. B. SRIMURUGANANDAM 

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

Candidates should possess a Master’s degree in Atmospheric Science, Meteorology, Environmental Science, or equivalent from a reputed university, with two years of experience in R&D in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations. Proficiency in data analysis, MathLab, and GIS is preferred. Alternatively, candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology with four years of relevant experience are also eligible.

OR

Four year Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Energy, Chemical, Biotech, engineering or technology from recognized university /institutions with two years’ experience in R&D in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations or Scientific activities and services in the area of climate change/ air pollution and policy /advocacy. Candidates with Proficiency in data analysis, MathLab and GIS may be preferred.

OR

Four year Bachelor’s degree in Medicine (MBBS) /Public health from recognized university /institutions with two years equivalent experience in climate-health impacts /public health, and proficiency in data analysis, epidemiology, or policy modelling.

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹

The stipend is Rs. 42,000/- per month (+10% HRA) for candidates selected through National Eligibility Tests like CSIR-UGC NET or GATE. For others, the stipend is Rs. 33,000/- per month (+10% HRA).
