ABES Engineering College (Estd. 2000) is affiliated to Dr. A. P. J Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. ABESEC has been established with an objective of providing education in Engineering and Management. The programs offered by the institute include various branches under Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) i.e., Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, ELCE, CSE-AIML, CSE-DS. The post graduate courses include MCA and M.Tech. ABESEC is approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Government of India. The college is NAAC Accredited & NBA Accredited (CSE, ECE, ME, EN & IT). The ranking of college in NIRF is 251- 300. The institute has received Star Performance Award for Academic Excellence & Certificate of Appreciation Award from the University. The institute has various centers of excellence & advance labs for professional development of students.

About the Department of Computer Science
The Department came into inception from year 2018-19 with an intake of 60 seats as B.Tech CEIT (Computer Engineering & Information Technology) branch. Later on in the year 2019-20, two more AICTE approved streams such as Computer Engineering (60 seats) and Computer Science (60 seats) were introduced in the department, in addition to CEIT. Now, from 2023-24 onwards the Department of Computer Science is running with an intake of 240 seats. It has become the most sought after department among engineering aspirants. The department has a team of experienced, highly qualified and motivated faculty members. The Department believes in nurturing the students with the ability and skills to analyze, design and develop computer systems and their applications, with a curriculum that has a balanced emphasis on theory, practical and projects.

Department of Computer Science is going to organize a One-week Hands-on Workshop on “Design Thinking Using Full Stack Development” in online mode from 21st August to 25th August 2023.The resource persons of the workshop will be from the industry as well as from other reputed universities and colleges
Objective of Workshop:
The objective of this Hands-on Workshop is to provide a thorough knowledge of today’s technologies. Significant interactive sessions with specialists will be held on several topics such as MERN, WordPress, Bootstrap and many others. The technical program will feature cutting edge sessions focused on Insights, Research problems, and maybe hands-on activities in the aforementioned research fields.
The participants from academia and industry will learn a lot from this program, and it will serve as a manual for learning and doing research activities to educate the participants on how to approach problems both theoretically and operationally. By taking this workshop course, participants will learn how to create intelligent systems that incorporate the focus area and how it can be used to address industrial applications.
