🏫 ABOUT INSTITUTION
NIT Kurukshetra, an Institution of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, is conducting walk-in interviews for Guest Faculty positions in various departments for the academic session 2025. The appointments are purely on lecture basis and temporary.
NIT, Kurukshetra requires Guest Faculty in the disciplines of Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Humanities & Social Sciences (Economics/ English) and Computer Applications with PhD in the relevant discipline. Interested candidates may report for interview to the Heads of the concerned Departments on 01.08.2025 at 09:00 AM along with application (format available on Institute website), all originals & one set of attested copies of certificates, a recent Passport size photograph and an original Identity proof for verification. 🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Minimum qualification is Ph.D. in the relevant discipline with first class (60% or 6.5 CGPA) at either UG or PG level. Ph.D. holders directly after graduation (B.E./B.Tech. etc.) from reputed institutes may also be considered. Superannuated faculty may also apply (maximum age 70).
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
Honorarium: ₹1,500 per lecture hour + 10% extra for examination work. Max: ₹70,900/month.
