🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

Eligibility:

• For Engineering Streams: Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Engineering along with a Ph.D. degree in the relevant subject area.
• For Mathematics / Statistics: Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree along with a Ph.D. degree in Mathematics / Statistics.
• Candidates must have a consistently good academic record with first class or equivalent grade in all preceding degrees in the appropriate discipline.
• Demonstrated research potential is essential.
• Retired faculty members from Institutes of repute may also apply for these positions.
• Minimum requirement of qualifications and/or experience may be relaxed for exceptional candidates as per Institute norms.

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹

Consolidated Monthly Honorarium:

• Visiting Professor: ₹2,00,000/- per month — Minimum 10 years post-Ph.D. experience, of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Associate Professor.
• Visiting Associate Professor: ₹1,50,000/- per month — Minimum 6 years post-Ph.D. experience, of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor.
• Visiting Assistant Professor: ₹1,00,000/- per month — Minimum 2 years post-Ph.D. experience.
• Visiting Professor (Retired Faculty): ₹1,00,000/- per month.

Visiting faculty receive a consolidated monthly honorarium, office space and access to the Institute’s other facilities. On-campus residential accommodation may be provided as per the rules and regulations of the Institute, subject to availability.
