🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Ph.D. with First Class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate discipline. Very good academic record throughout. For engineering disciplines, B.Tech degree in the relevant area is mandatory. Fresh Ph.D. holders may be appointed on contract (Grade-II) with scope for progression to Grade-I based on experience and performance. Age limit: 35 years as of 31st December 2023 (Relaxation as per GoI norms).
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
Assistant Professor Grade-II: Academic Pay Level 10 (₹57,700 – ₹98,200) with entry basic pay of ₹70,900 per month + DA + TA. Higher Pay Levels (APL-11/12) applicable based on experience post-Ph.D. Other benefits: HRA/Accommodation, LTC, medical reimbursement, CPDA, and others as per norms.
