🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering / Control Engineering / Automation / Mechatronics / Robotics / AI-related Engineering disciplines, or a closely related field.
Candidates who have recently completed their Ph.D. or thesis already submitted may also apply.
Essential Qualifications:
- Strong theoretical and practical background in classical and modern control systems, including system modelling, stability analysis, controller design, and performance evaluation for linear and non-linear systems.
- Strong publication record or demonstrated potential to publish in high-impact peer reviewed international journals in control engineering, automation, or related domains.
- Proven research experience in process control, autonomous systems, or intelligent control, with exposure to real-world industrial or cyber-physical applications.
- Excellent proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink/ROS for control system modelling, simulation, algorithm development, and performance validation.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Postdoctoral research experience
- International research exposure
- Grant writing experience
- Industry collaboration experience
