The project focuses on the “Design and Development of low energy hydrodynamic cavitation-based homogenizer for the synthesis of food and pharmaceutical grade oil-in-water nanoemulsions: Experimental & Molecular Simulations Insights”.

Designation / Job Position

  • Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Qualification & Experience / Requirement

Candidates must possess an M.Tech. in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biotechnology, Nanotechnology, Food Engineering, Food Technology, Oil and Surfactant Technology, Pharmaceutical Science & Technology, or related fields. Alternatively, an M.Sc in Chemistry, Physics, Biotechnology, or Pharmaceutical Sciences with at least two years of research experience in reputed institutes is desirable. Experience in CFD simulations is an added advantage.

The role involves assisting in the design of a homogenizer, conducting experiments, data generation, interpretation, analysis, and report writing. The position offers a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 25,000 per month.

Salary / Remuneration / Pay Scale

The selected candidate will receive a consolidated salary of Rs. 25,000 per month, as per the norms.

The position is based at the Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal, Karnataka, India.
