• Salary: INR 30,000 – 40,000 per month (Negotiable based on qualifications and experience)

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess a Master’s degree (MA/MSc/MSW) with at least 60% marks in disciplines such as Public Policy, Social Sciences, Economics, Statistics, Development Studies, Social Work, Rural Development, Gender Studies, or Management from a recognized university. Preference will be given to graduates from IITs, IIMs, or NITs.

A minimum of one year of relevant work experience in a research associate role or equivalent is required. Fresh post-graduates with exceptional academic records and relevant internship or project experience may also be considered. Experience in IIMs, IITs, TISS, or government-funded research projects is preferred.

Desirable Skills

• Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative data analysis (SPSS/STATA/R/NVivo)
• Experience in primary data collection, survey administration, and field research
• Strong writing skills for preparing research reports and documentation
• Familiarity with various schemes or social sector programs
• Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi
• Willingness to travel extensively within Chhattisgarh for fieldwork

Job Responsibilities

• Administer surveys, conduct field interviews, and manage data entry and cleaning
• Coordinate with field investigators and government officials at the district level
• Conduct literature reviews and compile secondary data
• Perform statistical analysis and create publication-quality charts, graphs, and tables
• Assist in drafting research reports, policy briefs, and presentations
• Support the Project Coordinator in stakeholder meetings and project administration
