🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

Qualifications & experience as prescribed by Norms.

Name of the Post: Professor (Engineering) 

 Essential Qualification: (i) Ph.D in the relevant field of Engineering and Technology (ii) M.E./M. Tech/ M.S. and B.E./B. Tech./ B.S. or equivalent in relevant discipline with first class either at Bachelor or Master Level.

 Name of the Post: Associate Professor (Engineering) 

 Essential Qualification: (i) Ph.D. in the relevant field of Engineering and Technology (ii) M.E./M. Tech/ M.S. and B.E./B. Tech./ B.S. or equivalent in relevant discipline with first class either at Bachelor or Master Level. 

Name of the Post: Assistant Professor (Engineering) 

Essential Qualification: M.E./M. Tech/ M.S. and B.E./B. Tech./ B.S. or equivalent in relevant discipline with first class either at Bachelor or Master Level.  

Professor (Applied Sciences and Humanities)

 Essential Educational and other qualifications: (A) (i) An eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification (s) in the concerned /allied relevant discipline and published work of high quality actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 research publications in the SCI/UGC listed journals and a total research score of 120 as per UGC criteria. (ii) A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college, and/or experience in research at the University/National level institutions/industries, with evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidate. (iii) Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology mediated teaching Learning process. 

 Name of the Post: Assistant Professor (Applied Sciences and Humanities)

 Essential Educational and other qualifications: (i) A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines. (ii) The Candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Lecturers conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil/Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be. (iii) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-clauses (i) and (ii) of above, candidates, who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges/Institutions subject to the fulfilment of conditions prescribed by UGC. (iv) NET/SLET/SET shall not be required in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted. 

 Name of the Post: Assistant Professor (Management)

 Essential Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline and Master’s Degree in Business Administration / PGDM /C. A. / ICWA/ M. Com. with First Class or equivalent and two years of professional experience after acquiring the degree of Master’s degree.  

Masters in Planning (Urban Planning): Core: Specialisation (Smart Cities, Eco Projects, Transportation, Infrastructure & Mobility, Sustainable Development, Regional & Master Planning) Allied: Specialisation (GIS, Urban Economics and Finance, Disaster Management and Mitigation, Demographics and Statistical Analysis).

Name of the Post: Professor (Architecture) 

 Essential Qualification: Bachelor‘s Degree in Architecture or equivalent to B. Arch and Master‘s Degree in Architecture or in allied subjects of Architecture with minimum 60 percent Marks at either level, AND Fourteen years’ experience in teaching/research/ professional work out of which a full-time teaching experience of minimum five years. OR Nineteen years of professional experience. Desirable: Ph.D. in Architecture.  

 Name of the Post: Assistant Professor (MCA) 

 Essential Qualification: B.E./ B.Tech. /B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. or integrated M.Tech. in relevant branch with First Class or equivalent in any of the degrees. OR B.E., B.Tech. and MCA with First Class or equivalent in any of the two degrees. OR Graduation of three years’ duration with Mathematics as a compulsory subject and MCA with First Class or equivalent with 2 years of relevant experience after acquiring the degree of MCA.

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE

1 Professor  – Rs. 70,000/-

2 Associate Professor & Assistant Professor who has completed 3-Years of service in the AGP 8000 or Equivalent Rs. 70,000/-

3 Assistant Professor (not covered above) – Rs. 52000/-
