• Title of the project – “Design, Development, and Testing of AI-Assisted Indigenous Smart Thermal Protective Clothing for Improved Firefighter Safety”
•   Sponsored Agency – ANRF-ARG, Govt. of India

• Duration – 3 years (extension based on performance review every 12 months) 
•  Principal Investigator (P.I) – Dr. Dipankar Bhanja, Associate Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, NIT Silchar. 

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

Essential Qualification: B.E. / B. Tech. / M.E. / M. Tech. degree in Mechanical Engineering (ME), Electronics & Instrumentation (E&I), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), or Electrical Engineering (EE).

Desirable Experience: Experience in experimental thermal measurements, including the use of thermocouples, data acquisition systems, and sensor integration.

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹

INR 30,000/- per month (+10% H.R.A as per the Institute norms.)
