🎯Project Details

• Project Title –” Quantitative retrieval and spatio-temporal analysis of soil quality parameters using Geospatial datasets and machine learning techniques in Western Plains and Ghat regions of Karnataka”
•   Funding Agency – VGST, Government of Karnataka
•  Principal Investigator – Dr. Shwetha H R Project 
• Duration – 12 months or until project completion, whichever is earlier

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

Essential qualifications include an M.Tech in Geoinformatics, Remote Sensing and GIS, Water Resources Engineering, Hydrology, or Agricultural Engineering. Alternatively, an M.Sc in Geoinformatics, Remote Sensing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Science with a first-class or equivalent with a minimum of 60% or 6.5/10 CGPA from a recognized university/institute is required. Candidates with a B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Science with similar academic credentials are also eligible.

Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of Hyperspectral and Microwave Remote Sensing, AI-ML applications, technical writing skills, and coding experience.

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹

The position offers a consolidated salary of Rs. 25,000 per month.
