🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Applicants must be superannuated professors from SVNIT Surat or any other Institute of National Importance, University, reputed Government or Semi-Government institution, or National Research Laboratory. They should have an outstanding academic and research record, with at least ten years of experience as a professor, successful guidance of at least ten Ph.D. scholars, and a strong publication record in SCI/SCOPUS-indexed journals. Preference will be given to those with patents, technology development experience, and a history of organizing national and international conferences. Candidates should be between 65 and 70 years of age.
The Professor Emeritus shall collaborate with faculty members in research projects, assist in the preparation of research proposals, and contribute to sponsored research activities. The Professor Emeritus shall deliver postgraduate and Ph.D. lectures (approximately 30 hours per semester) and guide M. Tech. and Ph.D. students. The Professor Emeritus shall also mentor young faculty members and contribute to consultancy, innovation, and institutional development.

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
a. Honorarium: ₹1,20,000/- per month b. Contingency Grant: Up to ₹10,000/- per month on reimbursement basis. c. CL, RH and Duty Leave as per Institute norms applicable to regular faculty.
