🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

  • Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

B.Tech. in CSE/ IT /Electronics/Electrical Engineering or allied discipline

OR

M.Tech. in a relevant discipline

OR

M.Sc. in Computer Science/Physics/Mathematics or related discipline

OR

MCA

  • Senior Research Fellow(SRF)

B.Tech. in CSE/ IT /Electronics/Electrical Engineering or allied discipline

OR

MTech. in a relevant discipline

OR

M.Sc. in Computer Science/Physics/Mathematics or related discipline

OR

MCA -Master of Computer Application

AND

Two years of relevant research experience.

Desirable Experience/Knowledge – Quantum algorithms/circuits; QEC/QEM; cuantum simulation and noise modelling; Qiskit/Qiskit Ctynamics; quantum compiler/transpilatton; Python/C++; BQSKit. GATE/NET desirable.

Project Engineer – B. Tech. or M.Tech.in CSE/IT/Electronics/Electrical Engineering or allied discipline.

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE

  • Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – ₹48,000/month (Year1–2); ₹55,000/month in Year3onupgrade to SRF, subject to applicable norms.
  • Senior Research Fellow(SRF) -₹55,000/month
  • Project Engineer – ₹63,000 ₹76,000/month (Year1–3)

• Selected candidates may be required to work at the University of Calcutta and/or project-related facilities and undertake work assigned by the Principal Investigator.

• The University reserves the right to shortlist candidates, relax/modify eligibility where permitted, or not fi II any position according to project requirements and applicable rules.
