🎯Project Details

• Funding Agency Name – DRDE-DRDO
• Project Title – “MXene-based degradation of life-threatening chemicals and toxic industrial gases.”
• Duration of the Appointment – The appointment is for 30 months. The appointment is co-terminus with the project, or the candidate does not perform well. 
• Job Description – This project work involves the synthesis and development of MXenes and their heterostructures with MOF and Metal Oxides for the degradation and detoxification of life-threatening chemical and toxic industrial gases. Responsibilities also include prototype fabric development, advanced materials characterisation (FESEM, XRD, XPS, XAS, TEM/HRTEM, BET, ICP-OES, RAMAN, etc, and detoxification studies. The candidate may be required to travel to RRCAT Indore for synchrotron studies at Indus beamlines and to DRDE Gwalior for detoxification studies.

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

M.Sc. in Chemistry/Physics/Materials Science/Nanoscience OR M. Tech. in Materials Science and Engineering/Nanotechnology or equivalent discipline (with 1st division as defined by the awarding Institute/University) A candidate who has qualified GATE or NET-LS or NET-PhD will be preferred.

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹

37,000 /- per month + 16 % HRA (As per Institute/Govt. Rules)
