🎯 Project Details

• Title of the project – “An experimental and numerical investigation of the mechanical properties of geothermal reservoir rocks and the fluid flow from hot springs in the Tawang region of Arunachal Pradesh, North Eastern India”
• Description of the project – The project studies the strength and permeability of geothermal rocks under different heat treatments using laboratory tests. Numerical models will be developed to understand heat, fluid flow, rock behaviour, and possible earthquakes caused by water and CO₂ injection.
• Sponsored Agency – ANRF, Govt. of India 
•  Project Sanction Number – ANRF/ECRG/2024/005933/ENS
• Duration – Two (2) years or till Completion of the Project, whichever is earlier (extension of selected candidate would be based on performance review every 12 months)

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

Candidates must have a B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering with GATE qualification, or an M.E./M.Tech./M.Sc./M.Sc. Tech. degree in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, Earth Science, or Geology. GATE-qualified candidates will be given preference.

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹

Rs. 37,000/- per month; HRA @10%, if Institute Accommodation is not provided.
