- Project Duration – Three Years
- Duration of Appointment – Initially for Six Months, extendable based on satisfactory performance in the project.
🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
• M. Tech./Integrated M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with minimum 60% marks (or equivalent CGPA) from a recognized University/Institute.
OR
• B.E./B.Tech. with 75% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized University/Institute.
• Qualified NET/GATE with a valid score of any year will give more advantages in selection.
Desirable Qualification
• Knowledge of Solid Waste Management, especially plastic waste management.
• Skills in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Python and MATLAB are desirable.
• Experience in handling Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), Gas Chromatography (GC), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTTR), and CHNS instruments will be an added advantage.
Research Responsibilities
• The selected candidate will participate in research related to plastic waste recycling technologies for Zero-Waste Recycling and Biogas Production Plant.
• Work will include waste plastic characterization, thermo-mechanical recycling, product manufacturing, process optimization, thermal conversion/fuel characterization, experimental analysis and integrated system validation, as relevant to the project.
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
Rs. 37,0007- per month (Consolidated, as per IRG norms).
