Applicants must be under 70 years of age and possess an outstanding academic or professional track record in the relevant fields. Retired officials from IP offices with significant experience or professionals with a notable reputation in IPR are encouraged to apply. Faculty members from IIT Bhubaneswar are also eligible.

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
The position offers a consolidated salary of Rs. 1,50,000 per month. Additional funds are available for books, journals, travel, secretarial assistance, and organizing workshops and seminars. Apart from the emoluments to be paid to the appointed Chair, funds shall be available for Books and Journals, Travel (Local & National), Secretarial Assistance, Organization of workshops/conferences/seminars/summer school, and Contingency expenses). In case the University/ Institute is unable to appoint an IPR Chair Professor, it is proposed that a Professor of that University /Institute be given additional charge as IPR Chair Professor with an honorarium not exceeding Rs. 25,000/- p.m.
