🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Essential: Master’s degree in Genetics/Plant Breeding/ Genetics and Plant Breeding/Biotechnology with 4/5 years bachelor’s degree. Those with 3 years bachelor’s degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification or equivalent or a Ph.D. in any of the above disciplines as prescribed under ICAR guidelines Desirable: Experience in Brassica Breeding, hybrid breeding, molecular breeding, biotechnology, and proficiency in computer applications.

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
₹37,000 + HRA/month for 1st and 2nd year; ₹42,000 + HRA/month for 3rd year, as applicable under ICAR norms.

📝 HOW TO APPLY
Candidates are required to bring the duly filled and signed application form along with original copies of educational and other relevant documents, and one set of self-attested photocopies for verification at the time of interview. The walk-in interview will be held on 26.11.2026 at 10:00 AM at the Division of Genetics, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi-12, as mentioned below. If any candidate is found to have submitted false claims at a later stage, their candidature will be summarily rejected
The candidates will have to compulsorily bring the filled-in application form (as per the format annexed), all the original certificates from matriculation onwards, date of birth certificate, NET/equivalent certificate, degree certificate either original or provisional and one set of the self-attested photocopies of all the required certificates from matriculation onwards and an attested copy of recent passport size photograph pasted onto the application form. Proof of experience and publications also need to be submitted. No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the present employer, wherever applicable. Only the candidates having essential qualifications would be entertained for the interview.
The candidate intending to attend the interview, if any of his/ her near or distant relatives is an employee of the ICAR/IARI, has to declare his/her name, designation, nature of duties, relationship in writing to reach the Head, Division of Genetics, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi by 25.11.2026. If, on the date of the interview, such declaration is furnished and found that his relative is an employee of ICAR/IARI, such candidate will not be allowed for interview. No TA/DA or any other expenses will be paid for attending the interview.
