- Tenure of Project The position is purely temporary. Initial appointment will be made for one year. Upon satisfactory performance, it will be extendable for the duration of the project (approximately eighteen months at present) or till the fund availability following the SERB (ANRF) direction.
🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Essential Qualification
Applicants should have an MSc or equivalent degree in Life Science/ Chemical Science/ Physical Science/ Engineering and Technology/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Science/ Medicine. Or, Integrated MSc/ MTech/BS-MS degree in Life Science/ Chemical Science/ Physical Science/ Engineering and Technology/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Science
The candidates must have qualified a National Eligibility Test like GATE (with a currently valid score)/CSIR-UGC NET categories 1/2/3 or any National Level Examination conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and institutions.
The selection and administration of the research fellow will be as per terms and conditions laid down by SERB (ANRF).
Desirable Qualification
Hands-on experience in cell culture, animal experiments, molecular biology techniques (DNA/RNA extraction, PCR/qPCR, Western blotting), microscopy, histology, immunostaining, transcriptomic and genomic data analysis, and sequencing sample preparation.
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
Rs. 37,000/- per month plus HRA as per rules.
