- Research Associate
PhD degree in Genetics /Plant Breeding/ Genetics & Plant Breeding/ Biotechnology/ Botany/ allied disciplines of Life Sciences.
- Senior Research Fellow
Master’s degree in Genetics /Plant Breeding/ Genetics & Plant Breeding/ Seed Science & Technology /Biotechnology/ allied disciplines of Life Sciences, with 4/5 years of Bachelor’s degree. Candidates with a postgraduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years’ Bachelor’s degree and 2 years’ Master’s degree must have NET qualification and 2 years of research experience as prescribed under ICAR guidelines.
Desirable – Research experience in genetics, breeding and application of molecular markers
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
- Research Associate – Rs 67,000/- + HRA/ month
- Senior Research Fellow – Rs.37,000/- + HRA/month for 1st and 2nd year; Rs.42,000/- + HRA/month for 3rd year, as applicable under ICAR norms.

The selected candidate must produce original certificates and one set of self-attested photocopies at the time of interview/joining. Candidates currently employed must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the present employer, wherever applicable. Senior Research Fellow (SRF): The upper age limit is 35 years for men and 40 years for women, with relaxation as per applicable rules (age relaxation of five years for SC/ST & women and three years for OBC).
