- Project Title: “IndiaCAN-Twin: Towards AI-Powered Digital Twin Platform for Early Detection and Personalized Care in Indian Oral Cancer. “
- Principal Investigator’s name: Prof. Nidhan K. Biswas and Prof Analabha Basu
- Co-Principal Investigator: Dr. Dilip Kumar
- This position is contractual, and appointments will be initially for one year, which is extendable depending upon performance, availability of funds and requirements of the project.
🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Project Scientist I -Doctoral Degree in Science or Master’s Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent
Research Associate I– Ph.D./MD/MS/MDS or equivalent degree or having 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after MVSc/M.Pharm/ME/M. Tech with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.
Principal Project Associate – (i) Master’s Degree in Natural or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognised University or equivalent; and (ii) Eight years’ experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organisations and Scientific activities and services OR Doctoral Degree in Science / Engineering / Technology / Pharma / MD / MS from a recognized University or equivalent; and (ii) Four years’ experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organisations and Scientific activities and service
Project Associate II – (i) Master’s Degree in Natural or bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent; and (ii) 2 years’ experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organisations and Scientific activities and services
Project Associate I – 1. Master’s Degree in Natural or bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent; 2. CSIR-UGC (NET) /LS or GATE or equivalent National level examinations conducted by central govt agencies.

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
- Project Scientist I – 56,000 +27% HRA
- Principal Project Associate – 49,000 + 27% HRA
- Research Associate – 58,000 +27% HRA
- Project Associate II – 35,000 +27% HRA
- Project Associate I – 31,000 + 27%HRA **
- ** For Project Associate-I, If no suitable candidate is found (point no. 2), then the candidate may be given Rs. 25,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under 2 above [Essential Education Qualification].
