The famous Deccan Education Society which is the parent body of several educational institutions spread over the landscape of Maharashtra founded the Fergusson College, a premier institution of liberal learning in India, in the year 1885. The Society itself was founded by the stalwarts of the Indian Freedom Movement-Lokmanya Tilak, Gopal Agarkar, Vishnushastri Chiplunkar and Madhavrao Namjoshi. The first two were also its distingusished teachers and Prof. Agarkar was its Principal (1892-95).
The Fergusson College has a beautiful scenic campus of 65 acres with numerous imposing buildings of gothic architecture. The composition of the community of students and teachers in Fergusson College reflects its truly national character. It has also attracted scores of students from overseas.

Applications are invited from the candidates having acquired the necessary academic and professional qualifications and fulfilling other conditions applicable to the posts of Assistant Professors to be filled on CHB (Clock Hour Basis) on vacant posts of Assistant Professor at Grant-In-Aid section of Fergusson College, Pune (Autonomous) for the Academic Year 2022-2023.

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

C) Preference will be given to NET/SET qualified candidates.
D) All other conditions regarding qualifications are as per the Norms Prescribed by UGC., Govt. of Maharashtra & Savitribai Phule Pune University.

Interview for the above mentioned posts will be held on Thursday, 21st July 2022 in Junior College Building, Fergusson College (Autonomous), Pune, at 11.00 a.m. onwards. No Separate communication will be delivered for the interview.
