🎯 Project Details
- Name of the project – “Unravel the functional role of MYB96 transcription factors for improvement of drought tolerance and oil content in oilseed crops Indian mustard and groundnut”. Description: Generate transgenic groundnut lines for trait improvement.
- Funding Agency – Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science & Technology (MoST), Govt. of India
- Principal Investigator – Dr. Swarup Roy Choudhury
- Project Code – 30326261
- Tenure – The initial offer will be for six months and renewable subject to satisfactory performance. The position is temporary and co terminus with the project.
🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Essential: Four years Bachelor’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / M.Sc. in Botany / Life sciences / Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Agricultural sciences / Plant sciences or equivalent degree from recognized institutions.
Desirable: Candidates with National Eligibility Tests – JRF or DBT JRF, GATE, or a selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions.

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
Rs. 42,000/- + 10% HRA per month (Consolidated) for candidates with National Eligibility Tests or equivalent. Rs. 33,000/- + 10% HRA per month (Consolidated) for others.
