National Forensic Sciences University, the erstwhile Gujarat Forensic Sciences University is the brain child of Govt of Gujarat. It was established by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri. Narendra Modiji, then Chief Minister of Gujarat in 2009 with a sole objective of creating professional experts in the field of Forensic sciences. At a juncture of spiking number of crimes involving sophisticated technologies and much evolved modus operandi, there was a need for scientists and technocrats. Thereby the resolution of such heinous crimes were more diligently possible. This has been prudently considered by the Govt of Gujarat and the university came into existence as a unique and first of its kind academic institution dedicated to Forensic Sciences across the globe.

National Forensic Sciences University, an Institution of National Importance is the world’s first and only University dedicated to Forensic, Behavioural, Cyber Security, Digital Forensic, Legal and allied Sciences. It was established by the Government of India through the Act, 2020 (32 of 2020) with the objective of fulfilling the acute shortage against the increasing demand for forensic experts in the country and around the world. 🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
Candidates having Ph.D. degree in relevant discipline and minimum first class or 60 % or equivalent at the preceding degree in relevant discipline from recognized university with very good academic record throughout shall be considered for the post of Assistant Professor (contractual) and will be paid consolidated remuneration of Rs 90000/- per month.
1 Associate Professor (Regular remuneration) remuneration Rs. 1,94,000/-
2 Assistant Professor (Regular remuneration) Rs. 90,000/-
3 Assistant Professor (Lower remuneration) Rs. 75,000/-
4 Lecturer (lower remuneration) Rs. 68,000/-
