NIT Srinagar (J&K) is an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The Institute invites applications from qualified Indian nationals for engagement as Temporary Faculty for the Autumn Session 2025 in the departments listed below.

• Temporary Faculty (Contract – up to 11 months)

🎯 DEPARTMENTS / VACANCIES

• Civil Engineering: 01 (UR)
• Information Technology: 03 (UR–02, OBC–01)
• Humanities, Social Sciences & Management (English): 01 (UR)

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

• Civil / Information Technology: B.E./B.Tech. in the relevant branch and M.E./M.Tech. with Ph.D.. (Candidates with Direct Ph.D. after B.Tech. are also eligible.)
• English (HSS&M): Bachelor’s/Master’s in English with Ph.D.
• First Class at both Bachelor’s and Master’s degree levels is essential.

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION ₹

Fixed remuneration of ₹65,000/- per month for active duty. No accommodation available on campus; selected candidates shall arrange their own stay.
