Research Associate Position in DBT-Sponsored Project

The Central University of Rajasthan is seeking a qualified Research Associate to join a dynamic research team working on a project titled “Microalgae-Powered Biomanufacturing: A Carbon Capture Approach for Scalable Nutraceutical Aquafeed Production.” This project is sponsored by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India, and offers a unique opportunity to engage in innovative research with significant industrial applications.

Qualification & Experience / Requirement

• The applicants should hold a Ph.D. degree in Microbiology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/life science with research experience in Industrial Microbiology/Biotechnology

 • Those who have already submitted their Ph.D. thesis are also eligible to apply. 

 • Candidates with prior experience in Industrial Microbiology/Industrial Biotechnology/Bioprocess development 

 • Hands-on experience in Microalgae culturing and handling of sophisticated instruments like HPLC.

 • Relevant hands-on laboratory experience and a strong background in the area of fermentative biomass in microalgae, biocatalysis, molecular biology, and biochemistry are encouraged to apply.

 • Research experience in the relevant area, supported by publications in high-impact peer-reviewed international journals, would be a plus.

Salary / Remuneration / Pay Scale

The fellowship is as per DBT rules, offering INR 58,000/- per month (consolidated) plus HRA.
