• Project title – “SmartGait: Wearable Device offering Vibrotactile Stimulation for Understanding Rehabilitation Dosage in terms of Gait Quantification and Neuronal Activity in Dopaminergic Circuits of Individuals with Parkinson’s Disease”
• Name of PI – Prof. Uttama Lahiri
• Duration of appointment – 6 Months 

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

Ph.D. in Computer Science / Computer Science and Technology / Information Technology/ Computational science or a closely related discipline. The candidate should have demonstrated research or development experience in full Stack software development, artificial intelligence, machine learning, intelligent healthcare systems, cybersecurity or related areas. A minimum of 60% marks at the Bachelor’s level is required. Also, minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in Class 10th and 12th is required. Scholars qualified through UGC/CSIR-NET, GATE, or equivalent national-level examinations may be considered as per applicable norms. 

 Desirable Qualification/Experience –  Research/development experience in healthcare technologies, health monitoring systems, cybersecurity/secure healthcare systems, interdisciplinary hardware-software integration, or resource-efficient AI/ML deployment. Experience in software development, embedded electronics, firmware, or hardware software integration is desirable. Formal training or hands-on experience in computational mathematics at the undergraduate or postgraduate level.

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹

₹72,000/- to ₹84,000/-per month 

 House Rent Allowance per month (If applicable) ₹12,600/- HRA per month
