🎯 PROJECT DETAILS

• Project Title:  “Design and Implementation of Consent Management Platform (CMP) for DPDP Rules 2025.”
• Principal (PI) Investigator:  Dr. Habila Basumatary Assistant Professor Grade-II, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, IIIT Pune E-mail: habila@iiitp.ac.in 
• Total duration of the project: 5 Years. The position will be offered for 1 year initially, which can be further extended based on the performance review. The applicants applying for the position of SRF and Project Associate may get a chance to enroll into PhD program at IIIT Pune, as per the Institute guidelines. 

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

NPDF: Ph.D. degree in Engineering or Technology, or an allied discipline from a recognized university/institute. Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis and are awaiting the final viva/award may also apply, but the fellowship will activate only after successful Ph.D. completion. 

Desirable Qualifications: The Ph.D. must be in a field aligned with the proposed research area (e.g., Network Security, Cyber Security, information and technology, computer engineering, etc.). A strong research background demonstrated through: publications in SCI/Scopus-indexed journals, conference papers and/or patents, etc. Ability to independently design and execute research experiments or simulations. Strong domain expertise in the chosen specialized area (Cryptography, Public Key Infrastructure, and Consent Management Platforms, etc.). Capability to write scientific manuscripts, proposals, and technical reports.

Senior Research Fellow (SRF): [M.E./M.Tech./MCA] or [B.E./B.Tech./M.Sc. with qualified GATE/NET] in Computer Science and Engineering/Information Technology/Cyber Security/Computer Science/Computer Application or equivalent with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (55% for reserved categories) or equivalent or not less than 6.5 CGPA (5.5 for reserved categories) on 10 point scale. Minimum 2 years of research experience as a JRF or equivalent after post-graduation (certificate from respective institute to be attached). 

Desirable Qualifications: Candidates with strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Cryptography, Public Key Infrastructure, and Consent Management Platforms

Project Associate – I: B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering/Information Technology/Cyber Security /Artificial Intelligence/Computer Science/Computer Application or equivalent with qualified GATE/NET and having minimum of 60% aggregate marks (55% for reserved categories) or equivalent or not less than 6.5 CGPA (5.5 for reserved categories) on a 10- point scale. Or Master’s degree in Engineering or Technology Computer Science and Engineering/Information Technology/Cyber Security /Artificial Intelligence/Computer Science/Computer Application or equivalent having minimum of 60% aggregate marks (55% for reserved categories) or equivalent or not less than 6.5 CGPA (5.5 for reserved categories) on a 10-point scale. 

Desirable Qualifications: Candidates with strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Cryptography, Public Key Infrastructure, and Consent Management Platforms

Senior Project Manager: 

Ph.D. degree in Engineering, or Technology from a recognized university/institute with one year of experience in relevant field. Or Master’s degree in Engineering, or Technology from a recognized university/institute with five years of experience in relevant field. Preferably in R&D or technology development projects, proven track record in executing government-funded, industry-sponsored, or multi- institutional scientific projects, and scientific documentation, strong understanding of scientific research workflows, experimental design, and data interpretation, ability to guide cross-functional teams including scientists, engineers, and technicians, advanced competency in project planning, timeline development, budgeting, and risk management, skilled in resource allocation, procurement and vendor coordination.

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹

NPDF : 80,000/- plus 30% HRA

Senior Research Fellow (SRF): 42,000/- plus 30% HRA

Project Associate – I: 37,000/- plus 30% HRA

Senior Project Manager: 1,50,000/- (Consolidated)
