💼 DESIGNATION / JOB POSITION

• Postdoctoral Research Position

🎯Research Area

• 1. Computational Mechanics: Fracture and damage mechanics, phase-field modeling, gradient damage modeling.                                                           OR
•  2. Auxetic Structures: Design, numerical analysis, optimization and experimental characterization.                                                                                          OR 
•  3. Composite Materials: Experimental and computational analysis experience of CFRPs and GFRPs, including mechanical characterization, damage and failure analysis 
•  Duration: The position is contractual and may be extended for up to 1 year, subject to the candidate’s satisfactory performance, with renewal every 6 months.

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

Essential qualifications include a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Material Science. Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis are also eligible to apply. A strong background in computational and experimental mechanics is desirable, with expertise in finite element analysis, scientific programming, and advanced experimental techniques being an added advantage.

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹

The selected candidate will receive a consolidated fellowship of Rs. 60,000/- per month.
