• Project Title: ” Bird Theme – Long Term Ecological Observatory Description Bioacoustics to conduct long-term ecological monitoring for bird populations to understand the biophysical and anthropogenic drivers of ecosystem change and their effect on socio-ecological responses in various landscapes across India. This role will also include project administration duties”.

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

Essential: Master degree in Biology/Life Sciences or any equivalent discipline with minimum of 55% marks.

Applicant should qualify the CSIR-UGC NET/GATE or any National Level Test conducted by Central Govt. Depts. and their agencies.

Desirable: 

Candidates with a valid 2-wheeler and 4-wheeler driving license and experience.  Experience conducting fieldwork for over one year. Experience with bird song and call identification (will be assessed at interview). Experience with recording bird songs and analysis. Experience in handling bird population data, and survey equipment. Experience in analysis in Raven Pro and BirdNET.  Experience with bird handling and ringing techniques 

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹

The fellowship is INR 37,000/- plus 10% HRA per month (Consolidated).
