Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, Akola was established on 20th October, 1969 with its head-quarter at Akola. This Agricultural University was named after the illustrious son of Vidarbha Dr. Panjabrao (alias Bhausaheb) Deshmukh, who was the Minister for Agriculture,Govt. of India. The jurisdiction of this university is spread over the eleven districts of Vidarbha. According to the University Act 1983 (of the Government of Maharashtra), the University is entrusted with the responsibility of agricultural education, research and extension education alongwith breeder and foundation seed programme.

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Essential Qualification:
Sr.No. 1 to 5 & 7 to 10 Post:- M.Sc. NET or Ph.D. in relevant discipline (Subject).
Sr. No. 6 post: B.P.Ed. or M.P.Ed in relevant discipline
Job Description:
Contractual Assistant Professor: He/She will have to teach the respective course and conduct the midterms, end theory and practical examination, submission of result and office related work for 11 months.
For Sr. No. 7 to 10 Contractual Assistant Professor: This is for only one semester, job to teach the respective subject and conduct the examination, submission of result.
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE
₹ Contractual Assistant Professor at Sr. No. 1 to 6: Fixed Emoluments of Total Rs.23760/- Per Month. (Rs. 15600+G.P. Rs.6000 +HRA @10% = Rs.23760/-)
Contractual Assistant Professor Sr. No.7 to 10 : Rs.500/- per theory class and Rs. 1000 per Practical class. One theory and two practical classes per week.Total Rs. 2500 per week thus Rs. 10000 per month.
