IIIT Raichur is one of the new IIITs proposed by the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India, located at Raichur, Karnataka state. IIIT Raichur has started its academic activity in August 2019 with its first batch of Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering. The institute will start functioning from its temporary campus in Govt Engineering College, Raichur from the academic year 2020-21. As the mentor institute, IIT Hyderabad will continue to oversee the functioning of IIIT Raichur. The Government Engineering College, Raichur, has been equipped with all the necessary arrangements to accommodate the IIIT Raichur. All the facilities and amenities at GEC Raichur Campus will be extended to IIIT Raichur as well.

IIIT Raichur is seeking applications from suitable candidates with exceptional teaching and research credentials for the post of Assistant Professor on a regular basis. The selected faculty will be stationed at the temporary GEC campus of IIIT Raichur at Raichur for some time till the construction of the permanent campus is completed,

🎯 DEPARTMENT / DISCIPLINE / SPECIALIZATION
(a) Computer Science & Engineering (CSE): All areas of CSE, including Theoretical Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning & Data Science, deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision and/or related topics, Computer Systems, Computer Networks, Cloud & Edge Computing, Blockchain, Cyber Security, cyber physical systems, etc.
(b) Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE):
All areas of Electronics and Computer engineering, including IoT, Analog Electronics, Communication Networking, Wireless Communication, Digital Signal Processing, Digital Image Processing, Digital System Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Fabrication Design, Digital IC Design, etc.
(c) Mathematics (MA):
All areas of Mathematics and Computing, including Algebra, Mathematical modeling and simulations, Analysis, Statistics and Probability, Topology, Financial Mathematics, etc.
🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
(a) Assistant Professor Grade-I (Level 12)
Three years of post-PhD experience in Level 11/10 from reputed academic Institute / Research and Development Labs or relevant industry with requisite Cumulative Essential Credit Points earned.
(b) Assistant Professor Grade -II (Level 11/10)
One year post Ph.D. experience in Level 10 from reputed academic Institute / Research and Development Labs or relevant industry with requisite Cumulative Essential Credit Points earned. Candidates with less than one year’s post Ph.D. experience may be considered for Level 10.
Ph.D. degree in relevant disciplines from recognized universities with an excellent academic and research record. Candidates who have an aptitude for sharing knowledge and earned their Ph.D. from reputed universities, followed by research guidance, formulation of research proposals, and acquisition of funding are encouraged to apply.
