- Project entitled “Assessing Phenytoin and Levetiracetam Efficacy, Cost- Effectiveness, and CYP2C9/SV2A Polymorphism in Early Post-Traumatic Seizures: A Multicentric Prospective Ranåomized Trial” (ICMR F. No. EM/Dev/IG/15/1210/2023)
- Principal Investigator – Dr. Apinderpreet Singh
- ICMR-funded multicentric research project
- Job Duration – Up to 14.03.2028, co-terminus with the project (remaining project duration approx. I year 4 months). Initial appointment for the remaining period, subject to satisfactory performance.
🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
- Project Research Scientist
Post Graduate Degree (M.Sc./M.Tech./M.Pharm.) in Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Pharmacology / Microbiology / Zoology / Molecular Biology or related subject from a recognized University, OR First Class four-year Graduate Degree in a relevant subject. Experience: Relevant research experience in HPLC, RT-PCR / qPCR and molecular biology techniques is required.
Desirable- • Hands-on experience of HPLC (drug-level / therapeutic drug monitoring). • RT-PCR/ qPCR, DNA/RNA extraction, genotyping/ SNP (polymorphism) analysis. Experience in clinical research projects (Neurosurgery / Neurology / TBI preferred) and GCP knowledge.
- Project Technical Support-II
Graduate in Science (B.Sc. MLT / BMLT / B.Sc. Life Sciences / Biotechnology) from a recognized University, OR three-year Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology. Experience: Laboratory / project experience with knowledge of sample processing, HPLC, RT-PCR and molecular techniques.
