The university campus is situated in village Meerpur at a distance of about 10 Km from district headquarter of Rewari, and is about 300 kms from Chandigarh, the State Capital. It is well connected both by rail as well as road. Spread over about 100 acres of land in lush green area and is well laid with state-of-the-art buildings. Before coming into existence as an independent State University it was working as Indira Gandhi Post Graduate Regional Centre of Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak which was established on 3rd October, 1988.

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
The candidates who were registered for Ph.D Programme on or after July 11, 2009 are required to produce a certificate for fulfilment of the provisions of the UGC (minimum standards and procedure for award of Ph.D. degree) Regulations 2009, issued by the Registrar or Dean Academic Affairs of the concerned University as per Annexure-II.
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
Subject wise details of teaching posts of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor & Professor as per Reservation Policy & Instructions of State Government of Haryana issued from time to time.
Pay Scale:
Assistant Professor: Academic Level-10 with entry pay of Rs. 57700/-.
Associate Professor: Academic Level-13A with entry pay of Rs. 131400/-.
Professor: Academic Level-14 with entry pay of Rs. 144200/-.
