M S Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (RUAS) was created under the University Act of 2013 with approval from the Government of Karnataka.
It brought together the M S Ramaiah Medical College, M S Ramaiah College of Physiotherapy, M S Ramaiah Institute of Nursing Education & Research, M S Ramaiah College of Hotel Management (1993), M S Ramaiah College of Pharmacy (1992), M S Ramaiah Dental College (1991), the M S School of Advanced Studies (1999), and the M S Ramaiah Advanced Learning Centre (2012). In keeping with the education needs of the day, it also introduced new disciplines and programs.
Since its inception, RUAS has served as a platform that bridges the existing gaps between academia, industry and society. With every program it offers, the University charts its own unique path, creating students who comfortably adopt multidisciplinary thinking and are driven by a strong desire to build to a better tomorrow.

The University has state of the art teaching and research laboratories in diverse areas of Engineering & Technology, Health Sciences, Social Sciences and Law.
Multiple faculty positions in various departments of the School of Social Sciences and the School of Law at the levels of Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, and Lecturer are available adhering to the pay structure as per UGC regulations of recruitment.
SCHOOL OF LAW Faculty positions for Law (Regular) at the level of:
• Professors
• Associate Professor
• Assistant Professor
Specialization: Corporate laws, Taxation law, Constitution and Administrative law, Labour law, International Law, Technology and Cyber law, Land laws, Family Laws and other laws will be preferred.
Qualification: Ph.D. /UGC NET will be preferred. However, exceptional candidates with LL.M. and a minimum of 3 years teaching experience will also be considered.
Experience: as per UGC Norms

Candidates having industry experience may apply and will be given preference.

Qualification & Specialization: Candidates with a specialization in Quantitative Methods, Econometrics, or Microeconomics are encouraged to apply.
Department of Psychology
Qualification & Specialization: Candidates with a specialization in Clinical Psychology or Human Resource Management are encouraged to apply.
Department of Public Policy
