🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
The candidate must be an eminent scholar with an M.A. and Ph.D. in Sociology, possessing a minimum of ten publications in books and/or research/policy papers. A minimum of 10 years of teaching experience at the university/college level or research experience at a national level institution is required. The candidate should also have a proven commitment to social justice and meet the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) requirements.
Preference will be given to candidates from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, or other socially and economically weaker sections of society.

The position offers a pay scale at Academic Level 14 under the UGC guidelines, as per the 7th CPC.
