Professional Trainee Engagement at IIT (BHU), Varanasi
IIT (BHU), Varanasi, established in 2012, is renowned for its excellence in engineering, technology education, and research. The Institute is seeking ten Professional Trainees to join its team, offering a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic academic environment.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: M.Com or MBA (Finance) or Graduation with Intermediate Level Certificate from ICAI or ICWAI/ICMAI.
- Registration for intermediate examination on or after 01.01.2019.
- Proficiency in computers, MS Office, Email communication, Tally, and/or other Accounting Software.
- Age Limit: Below 30 years as of the last date of application submission.
Stipend and Training Details
The selected trainees will receive a stipend of Rs. 25,000 per month. The training period is set for one year (12 months), during which trainees will be involved in tasks related to the Accounts Section/R&D Unit or other units as decided by the Institute’s Competent Authority.
“An undertaking will be taken from the trainees at the time of joining to the effect that the entire stipend amount will be refunded back if he/she wants to leave before completion of the training period.”
Application Process
Interested candidates must apply through the Samarth Online Portal. The portal will be open from 29.04.2026 to 19.05.2026 (till 05:00 PM). After submitting the application online, candidates must send a printout of the application form along with self-attested copies of supporting documents to the Registrar, IIT (BHU), Varanasi, by 26.05.2026.

- The application fee is Rs. 250 for UR/EWS/OBC candidates. SC/ST/PwD/Women candidates are exempted from the fee.
