🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Candidates must have an established record of independent, high-quality research and a commitment to teaching and research. They should be capable of teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, engaging in interdisciplinary research, and supervising graduate students.
The following qualifications and experience are being sought in the candidates.
• Candidates are expected to have a Ph.D. with a consistently good academic record throughout, and adequate experience in their relevant field of expertise.
• A demonstrated ability to carry out original, creative, and high-quality research.
• (For non-entry-level hires) evidence of leadership in research, such as securing external funding or leading research groups, and supervising doctoral and masters level students.
• Excellent communication skills, with a commitment to high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
For Assistant Professor positions, we typically seek candidates with some post-PhD experience, a strong academic background and impactful publications.
Associate Professor candidates should have a proven track record of teaching and research excellence, research supervision (including PhD), experience securing and completing funded research (or equivalent industry experience).
Professor candidates are expected to demonstrate sustained academic leadership and substantial contributions to teaching and research, which may include the development academic programs, successful completion of high-value research projects, high-impact publications, significant research reports, or impactful innovations
