• Development of a 50-qubit quantum information processor with electron spins in silicon

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

Qualifications & experience as prescribed by Norms.

The candidate must have a master’s degree with first-class in Physics, Applied Physics, or Engineering Physics, or a bachelor’s degree in engineering in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Science. They should have qualified National Level eligibility exams such as CSIR/UGC NET, GATE, or JEST, and possess a minimum of 2 years of research experience post the master’s degree in a field relevant to the project.

Desirable qualifications include expertise in semiconductor device fabrication, single electron-beam lithography, photolithography, reactive ion etching, atomic layer deposition, and low-temperature electrical transport using 1.5K cryostats or dilution refrigerators.

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹

The fellowship amount is ₹42,000 per month plus HRA as admissible.
