- Research project: “CRIMLIFE – Criminal Life-Course Trajectories Globally (2026–2030) “
- The project is jointly led by: Dr. Mathew A. Varghese, Assistant Professor, School of International Relations and Politics, Mahatma Gandhi University Dr. Sunaina K., Assistant Professor, School of Behavioural Sciences, Kannur University
- The proposed research forms part of the European Research Council (ERC)-funded international project CRIMLIFE – Criminal Life-Course Trajectories Globally (2026–2030), with Mahatma Gandhi University serving as the institutional beneficiary for the Indian component of the study.
- Duration: Six months during the project year
🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

Research Assistants: Postgraduate degree in any Social Science discipline. Desirable qualifications include familiarity with qualitative research, experience in ethnographic research methods, and good academic writing and analytical skills.
Field Investigators: Postgraduate degree in any Social Science discipline. Desirable qualifications include experience in qualitative field research, good report writing and documentation skills, and the ability to undertake field-based data collection.
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
Research Assistants: Remuneration: ₹35,000 per month (each),
Field Investigators: Remuneration: ₹12,000 per month (each).
