🎯Project Details

• Project entitled – “Thermo-kinetic Analysis of filler/Ni-based superalloy interface formed during vacuum brazing” sponsored by DRDO (Project No: ARDB/M&M/4499/2256), in the Department of Materials Science and Metallurgical Engineering (MSME), IIT Hyderabad. 
• Duration of the project: 3 years. Expected Joining date: 10/09/2026
• Principal Investigator: Dr. Mayur Vaidya, IIT Hyderabad (vaidyam@msme.iith.ac.in) 
•  Co-investigator (1): Dr. Sairam K Malladi, IIT Hyderabad (srkm@msme.iith.ac.in)  

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

Qualifications & experience as prescribed by Norms.

The candidate must have an M. Tech. in Materials Engineering, Metallurgy, Materials Science and Engineering, Nanoscience and Technology, or Energy Science and Technology. Alternatively, an M. Sc. in Chemistry, Physics, or Materials Science with a valid GATE/CSIR score is acceptable. A background in CALPHAD and/or Materials Characterization is desirable, along with a willingness to register for a Ph.D.

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹

As Per Norms

The JRF position offers a fellowship of Rs. 37,000/- per month for the first and second years, and Rs. 42,000/- for the third year, with 30% HRA.
