🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
B.E/BTech/ M.E/MTech/ M.Sc.(Engineering) in Metallurgy/Metallurgical and Materials Engineering/ Ceramic/ Chemical/ Mechanical/ Production/ Manufacturing Engineering/ Computer Science with minimum 65% marks or 7.0 CGPA in the preceding qualifying degree (or) M.Sc in Physics/Chemistry/ Materials Science with minimum 65% marks or 7.0 CGPA in the preceding qualifying degree
Note:
1. Candidates with B.E./BTech/MSc should have valid GATE score (qualified); Candidates with M.E./MTech/Msc(Engineering) should have qualified GATE previously.
2. In case of non-availability of a suitable GATE/NET-qualified candidate, candidates without GATE/NET qualification may be considered for Project Associate-I with a fellowship of Rs. 30,000/- per month, based on merit, interview performance, and their theoretical knowledge and understanding of the project topic, subject to the requirements of the project.
Desirable Qualification:
Prior knowledge/experience in one or more of the following experimental studies of metallic materials:
1. Alloy design and/or metal casting
2. Materials characterization
3. Mechanical behaviour and/or mechanical testing
4. Surface modification and surface characterization of metallic materials
4. Electrochemistry/corrosion/tribology
5. Physical metallurgy of titanium alloys
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
Year 1 & 2 – INR 37,000.00 /-per month (+) HRA @ NA % (if applicable)
• NA – INR 42,000.00 /-per month (+) HRA @ NA % (if applicable)
