🎯Project Details
- Project Title –“Design Fabrication and Characterization of low-Gain Avalanche Detectors (LGADs) for ultra-fast Timing in Radiation Detection and Medical Imaging Applications” in the Centre for Medical and Radiation Physics, NISER, Bhubaneswar funded by ANRF, India.
- The position is purely temporary, initially for a period of 11 months, and may be extended based on satisfactory performance and strictly co-terminus with the project, and does not lead to any PhD degree at NISER. It would, therefore, not confer any right/claim, implicit, or explicit for consideration/ absorption against any NISER post
- Principle Investigator – Dr. Ganesh Jagannath Tambave
🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Essential qualifications include a Master’s degree in Physics or a B.E/B.Tech in Electronics. Candidates must also have a valid National Eligibility Test (NET) qualification such as CSIR-UGC.
Desirable: Experience with one of the following: TCAD simulation (Silvaco/Sentaurus), Signal processing algorithms, C++/python programming and DAQ systems.
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
₹37,000/- pm plus HRA as per rules
